"Dental Office sets a Guinness World Book Record for the Most Number of People Dental Flossing"
July 31st, 2001 our office participated in a community event to raise national awareness for the importance of oral health. After having a category created by Guinness specifically for us, we head out to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin where 297 teen campers participated in our record flossing event.
After signing in, brushing and rinsing with water to reduce bacterial count, our Innovative Dental Professional team donned our gloves and passed out the 1500 foot single piece of dental floss to the participants. With two feet of floss looped in between each participant to prevent cross contamination, the team flossers were ready to floss. At 1:30 p.m the Guinness Record had been attained.
A great time was had by all and each participant felt like a superstar!
